Madhya Pradesh to Fill 20,000 Police Vacancies in Three Years

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced that all vacant posts in the police department, numbering over 20,000, will be filled in a phased manner over the next three years. During this announcement, he also declared the formation of a police recruitment board and the provision of a special allowance to police personnel deployed in VVIP security.

Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav made a major announcement on Sunday, stating that all vacant posts in the state's police department will be filled soon. Addressing a gathering in Bhopal, the capital city, he stated that approximately 20,000 posts are currently vacant. The CM said that 7,500 posts will be filled this year, and an equal number will be filled in the next two years. Additionally, he announced the establishment of a police recruitment board and a special allowance for personnel deployed in VVIP security.

Major Announcement by CM Mohan Yadav

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced that all vacant posts in the police department will be filled soon. He stated that currently, there are approximately 20,000 vacant posts, and these will be filled in a phased manner within three years. The Chief Minister said that 7,500 posts will be filled this year, with the same number of appointments occurring next year, and the remaining 7,500 posts will be filled in the third year. The government's goal is to ensure that there are no vacant posts in the police department after three years.

Police Recruitment Board to be Established

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav clarified that a separate police recruitment board will be constituted to expedite and enhance the transparency of the recruitment process. He said that this step is being taken to eliminate the problems associated with the Employee Selection Board. The formation of the new board will allow candidates to participate in the recruitment process in a timely manner, and the quality of selection will also be improved.

In addition, the CM provided relief to police personnel deployed in VVIP security by announcing that they will now be provided with a sixth special allowance and risk allowance. He said that the government is serious about the rights and facilities of police personnel and that further steps will be taken in the future.

Information on Achievements Provided at Scholarship Distribution Program

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav recently distributed scholarships and certificates of merit to meritorious female students at the 'Swarna Sharda Scholarship-2025' program held in Bhopal. During this, he said that the per capita income of the state has now reached ₹1.52 lakh, whereas in the year 2002-03 it was only ₹11,000.

He further stated that the irrigation area in the state has increased to 7.5 lakh hectares in the last one and a half years. Also, several districts will benefit from the river linking campaign. He claimed that Madhya Pradesh is continuously moving forward in the direction of industrial investment and development, and the state will get new opportunities in the coming times.
