In preparation for the Magh Mela, a new request-stop has been established near Rajgarh village in Pratapgarh district. Previously, there were no bus stops along this route, and passengers had to travel all the way to Bhupiyamau Chauraha.
With this new bus stop, residents of Rajgarh and surrounding villages, including Sary Behelia and Baburaha – approximately ten villages in total – will now be able to directly board buses. This will save them an additional three kilometers of travel, which they previously had to endure.
The Uttar Pradesh State Transport Corporation has issued instructions that buses on the Prayagraj-Ayodhya route will stop at this new stop. Officials have stated that this facility will come into effect this week. Considering the anticipated heavy influx of pilgrims during the Magh Mela, this new stop has been established with the aim of facilitating and ensuring the safety of travel for those undertaking the religious journey.
