Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has released its business update for June 2025, clearly indicating that the company has performed better this time compared to the previous year. The company has sent its production and sales figures to the stock market, revealing a significant increase in both production and sales in June.

20% Increase in Production

The company has reported that its total production in June 2025 was 83,435 units, compared to 69,441 units in June 2024. This represents a year-on-year growth of 20% in production. This increase reflects the company's effective supply chain management and b customer demand.

Sales Also Show Strength

Mahindra & Mahindra's total sales for the month of June increased by 14% to reach 76,335 units, while the company sold 66,800 units in June last year. This growth in sales has been possible primarily due to increased demand in the SUV and pickup categories.

Growing Demand in the SUV Segment

The company's flagship SUV models like Thar, Scorpio-N, and XUV700 continue to be in high demand. These vehicles also have long waiting lists, leading to a decision to increase production. Auto experts believe that Mahindra's vehicles are gaining a ber foothold in both urban and rural areas.

Slight Increase in Exports

While the company performed well in the domestic market, a slight increase was also recorded in exports. In June 2025, Mahindra exported 2,634 units, compared to 2,597 units in June 2024. This represents a year-on-year increase of 1%. These figures demonstrate the company's continuous expansion in the international market.

Contribution of the Commercial Vehicle Segment

Mahindra's commercial vehicle segment is also gradually strengthening its position. Improvement in demand has been observed, especially in rural and semi-urban areas. Models like Bolero pickup and Jeeto have made a positive contribution to sales.

Performance in the Stock Market

In Monday's trading session, Mahindra & Mahindra's shares closed at ₹3,158, with a slight decrease of 0.14%. However, over the past year, the company's shares have seen a rise of approximately 10.75%. Experts say that due to the b business update and the growing share in the SUV segment, the confidence of long-term investors remains in this stock.

Mahindra & Mahindra's market value has also increased in recent months.
