A man died after being electrocuted while allegedly attempting to commit a theft in Bihar’s Nalanda district. According to preliminary information, he had climbed onto the roof of a shop to cut an overhead electricity wire when he came into contact with the live wire and died at the scene.
The incident triggered panic in the area. Police reached the spot after receiving information, took custody of the body and initiated an investigation. A knife was reportedly recovered from the man's pocket. Police suspect that he may have arrived with accomplices intending to carry out a theft. However, all aspects of the incident are being investigated.
