When the accused father attempted to forcibly take his daughters with him, the son and his nephew, in a fit of rage, attacked him. This incident has shaken the entire region, raising questions in society about the limits of justice when a family itself becomes a victim of abuse.
A Chilling Incident in Islampur
This case is from Islampur village in Mathura's Kosi Kalan area, where 55-year-old Pawan Chaudhary resided with his family. According to villagers, Pawan had an extremely violent disposition and already had several criminal cases registered against him. It is reported that he often physically abused his family while intoxicated and also sexually assaulted his daughters.
The victimized daughters had been living at their uncle Harishankar's house for the past few months to escape their father's brutality. However, the accused father arrived there after Diwali and insisted on forcibly taking both daughters home. It was during this confrontation that the incident took a horrific turn.
Father Dies in Attack by Son and Nephew
When the father attempted to pull the daughters, the 15-year-old son and 17-year-old nephew present in the house came out. Both tried to stop their father, but he began attacking them instead. During this altercation, the son and nephew lost control and struck him with a sharp weapon. Pawan died on the spot from the attack.
Chaos erupted in the village after the incident. Local residents immediately informed the police. The police arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and detained both minor boys. During questioning, the daughters made several shocking revelations against their father.
Past Crimes Emerge in Police Investigation
Police investigation also revealed that the deceased Pawan was already involved in criminal activities. According to Station House Officer Ajay Kaushal, Pawan was previously suspected of murdering his wife and mother. Furthermore, several cases of robbery, kidnapping, and molestation were registered against him.
The police have sent the body for post-mortem and initiated further proceedings. Officials stated that both minor accused are being questioned under the Juvenile Justice Act, and the entire case will be presented before the Child Justice Board.
