Matuknath has stated that he does not have a girlfriend and said that claims made about his personal life are fabricated. He clarified that he remains in contact with Julie, but discussions surrounding their relationship have been exaggerated.
He said that while there is public curiosity about his private life, not every relationship should be considered a romantic one. “I do not have a girlfriend; this has just been turned into a story,” he said.
Matuknath added that he speaks with Julie from time to time and that normal communication continues between them. He also said that life has moved forward and that he now shares his experiences with students.
Responding to being called a ‘Love Guru,’ he said with a smile that he does offer advice to students about relationships and life. “Today’s youth need an understanding of relationships. I tell them that responsibility and respect are the most important in love,” he said.
He also said that under the influence of social media and films, young people make hasty decisions that later lead to problems. In this context, he said he advises students about patience, prudence, and the importance of family.
