Notorious Gangster Mayank Singh to be Extradited from Azerbaijan to India

Gangster Mayank Singh, associated with Lawrence Bishnoi and involved in several serious crimes in Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana, was taken into custody in Baku, Azerbaijan, last year. New Delhi: A team from the Indian Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has reached Baku, Azerbaijan to oversee the extradition of notorious gangster Mayank Singh. Mayank Singh, who was in contact with Lawrence Bishnoi, was involved in several serious crimes in Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana and was taken into custody in Azerbaijan last year. It is estimated that he will be brought to India by Saturday. He continued to commit crimes through internet calls and social media and several cases against him are under investigation in India.

Mayank Singh was placed on Interpol's Red Corner Notice list and became the first gangster from Jharkhand to be arrested abroad.

His criminal history is long and serious. Before fleeing India, Mayank Singh was involved in several major crimes in Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana.

His close ties with Lawrence Bishnoi and organized criminal network made his activities even more dangerous. Even after leaving India, he continued to commit crimes remotely and threatened Indian businessmen.

Earlier, Azerbaijan had also detained and extradited Indian gangster Sanjeev Kumar alias Harsh to India. He was arrested at Delhi Airport after extradition.
