Navjot Singh, Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, died in a BMW accident that occurred in Dhaula Kuan, Delhi. His family has alleged that the accused woman deliberately delayed his treatment by taking him to a distant hospital, which ultimately led to his death.
BMW Accident: A horrific BMW accident in Delhi's Dhaula Kuan area has shaken the entire nation. Deputy Secretary Navjot Singh from the Ministry of Finance (North Block) tragically died in this road accident. His wife, Sandeepa Kaur, is critically injured and fighting for her life in the hospital.
Family's Anger and Accusations
Following Navjot Singh's death, the family's anger is palpable. His sister-in-law stated that this was not merely a road accident but also involved negligence and a deliberate conspiracy. They allege that instead of taking Navjot to the nearest hospital immediately after the accident, he was taken to a distant one. Several large hospitals were available around Dhaula Kuan, yet the van was driven directly towards Azadpur. The family believes that Navjot's life could have been saved if he had been taken to a nearby hospital on time.
Parents' Grief
Both the family's sorrow and anger came to the fore. Navjot's sister-in-law mentioned that his parents are over 80 years old, and their son's death has shattered them. The parents are in a distraught state, crying profusely, and are only uttering one demand: "We want justice." The family insists that all culprits, be it the hospital, the doctor, or the woman involved in the accident, must face punishment.
Van Driver's Major Revelation
A new turn in this entire case emerged when the van driver, who transported Navjot and his wife to the hospital after the accident, made a shocking revelation. The driver stated that he offered help out of humanity and was taking both injured individuals to the hospital in his van. At that moment, a woman also got into his van. According to the driver, this was the same woman who was driving the BMW.
Why the Woman Diverted the Route
The driver stated that the woman in the vehicle asked him to change the route. The accident occurred at Dhaula Kuan, but the woman instructed him to go towards Azadpur. Reaching there would take at least 30 minutes. According to the driver, the woman was continuously speaking on the phone with a doctor, saying – “Keep everything ready; we are coming.” Hearing this, the family's suspicion deepened, believing that the woman did not take the right steps to save Navjot.
Family's Suspicion Deepens
Following the driver's testimony, Navjot's family has become even more apprehensive. They believe that the accused woman intentionally changed the route to save herself and reach a hospital known to her. Consequently, Navjot's condition worsened, and he died due to the lack of timely and proper medical treatment.
