MNS Workers Vandalize Dance Bar in Panvel Following Raj Thackeray's Remarks

In Panvel, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers vandalized a dance bar late Saturday night. The activists forcibly entered the establishment named 'Night Riders Bar' and damaged furniture, glass, liquor bottles, and other items present there. The entire incident was captured on the bar's surveillance cameras, and the video is rapidly going viral on social media.

According to the police, the vandalism caused extensive damage to property. Tension prevails in the area following the incident. Police have registered a case against MNS official Yogesh Chille, along with 15 workers, under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and are investigating the matter.

Violence Follows Raj Thackeray's Statement

Just hours before the incident, MNS chief Raj Thackeray had bly reacted to dance bars during a rally held in Raigad district. He termed the operation of dance bars on the land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as shameful and questioned the administration. Shortly after Raj Thackeray's remarks, the violent incident in Panvel came to light.

MNS Warning

A local MNS leader stated that the party would not tolerate any kind of obscene activities on the sacred land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He explicitly said that MNS will continue to bly oppose such places and activities not only in Panvel but throughout Maharashtra. He alleged that many dance bars are providing unwanted services and that this has a negative impact on society.

The activists claim that this action was taken on the call of party chief Raj Thackeray and that they are engaged in a campaign to shut down such bars.

Police Alert

Since the incident, the police have increased surveillance in the area and are investigating the CCTV footage from the bar and the viral video. Officials say that strict action will be taken against the culprits to prevent such incidents in the future.
