Modi to Inaugurate ₹10,000 Crore Projects in Siwan, Bihar

Prime Minister Modi to Inaugurate ₹10,000 Crore Projects in Siwan. These include the Vaishali-Deoria rail line, Vande Bharat train, and various basic infrastructure projects related to housing, electricity, and sewerage.

PM Modi Bihar Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day visit begins on Friday. During this time, he will inaugurate several development projects in Bihar and Odisha and address public gatherings. The visit will commence in Siwan, Bihar, where he will launch projects worth over ₹10,000 crore.

Several Major Inaugurations in Siwan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Vaishali-Deoria railway line project in Siwan, costing over ₹400 crore. A new train service on this route will also be launched. Additionally, he will flag off the Vande Bharat Express from Patna to Gorakhpur, improving connectivity to North Bihar via Muzaffarpur and Bettiah.

Along with the railway project, the Prime Minister will also launch the export of the first engine from the Marhaura Diesel Locomotive Plant to Guinea. This is being undertaken under the 'Make in India, Make for the World' initiative.

Emphasis on Infrastructure Development

The Prime Minister's visit also includes several infrastructure projects. These encompass water supply, electricity, sewerage networks, battery storage, and sewage treatment plants (STPs). The aim is to strengthen basic services in the state.

Prime Minister's Schedule

At 11:15 AM, the Prime Minister will depart from Kushinagar Airport by helicopter. He is expected to arrive at the Jasouli (Siwan) helipad at 11:50 AM. At 12:00 PM, he will reach the public gathering venue (NH-531 Pachrukhi Bypass). From 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM, he will inaugurate and dedicate the projects. He will then depart from Siwan at 1:25 PM.

Public Gathering in Siwan

Following the inaugurations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public gathering. He will share information about the central government's schemes and reiterate the Centre's commitment to the state's development.
