Mumbai School Tragedy: Eighth-Grader Kills Tenth-Grader in Knife Attack

A tragic incident at the Sitaram Sarada School in Ahilyanagar, Mumbai, has shocked the entire area. On Friday, during the lunch break, an eighth-grade student attacked and killed a tenth-grade student with a knife due to a personal dispute. Both students were residents of the Sarjepura area and had previously quarreled over playing cricket.

Attack During Lunch Break

The incident occurred while the tenth-grade student was eating his lunch in the school. The eighth-grade student arrived and, due to a previous argument, a heated discussion ensued between the two. The situation escalated quickly, and the eighth-grade student pulled out a knife and repeatedly stabbed him in the stomach and neck. The student died at the scene. Chaos erupted in the school, and the police were immediately notified.

Accused Minor Student in Custody

The police swiftly took action and took the 13-year-old accused student into custody. Given the ages of the students involved, the case is being investigated under the Juvenile Justice Act. It is reported that the deceased's family had previously filed a complaint regarding the accused student's behavior.

This incident not only raises questions about security in schools but also highlights how dangerous the growing anger and violent tendencies in children can be. The police are currently investigating the entire matter, and the school administration is also being questioned.
