District authorities in Nalanda have completed preparations for the NEET UG examination and placed all arrangements on alert mode to ensure the examination is conducted peacefully and fairly. The administration has stated that strict action will be taken against any officer or staff member found negligent in performing assigned duties.
A total of 3,804 candidates will appear for the NEET UG examination in the district this year. Comprehensive security arrangements have been made at various examination centres. Police personnel have been deployed outside the centres, while magistrates have been assigned monitoring responsibilities.
The district administration held a meeting with examination centre superintendents and concerned officials and issued necessary instructions. Officials have been directed to reach examination centres on time, maintain transparency in the candidate screening process, and prevent any form of irregularity.
The administration has also appealed to candidates to arrive at their examination centres well before the commencement of the examination and to carry their admit cards along with the prescribed identification documents. Electronic gadgets, smartwatches, mobile phones and other prohibited items will not be permitted inside examination centres.
Special arrangements have also been made to ensure smooth traffic management during the examination. Police and administrative teams will continuously monitor areas around examination centres to prevent congestion and disorder.
According to the district administration, conducting the examination in a completely transparent and cheating-free environment remains its priority. Immediate action will be taken in the event of any irregularity or violation of rules.
Preparations at all examination centres are currently in the final stage, and the administration is working to ensure that thousands of candidates can appear for the examination without any inconvenience.
