In Patna, NDA released its manifesto for the Bihar Election 2025. It prioritizes job creation, industrial investment, skill development, women's participation, and infrastructure development. Nitish Kumar and NDA leaders were present at the event.
Bihar Election 2025: Today, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to release its joint election manifesto for the Bihar Assembly elections. The manifesto will be unveiled at Hotel Maurya in Patna in the presence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The event will commence at 9:30 AM. Also present will be Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader Chirag Paswan, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) President Upendra Kushwaha.
According to NDA leaders, this year's manifesto will bring "major announcements" for the people of Bihar. It will have a special focus on increasing employment opportunities for the state's youth, promoting industrial investment, and strengthening infrastructure.
Emphasis on Employment and Industrial Development
For the past few years, unemployment has been a major electoral issue in Bihar. Keeping this challenge in mind, the NDA may announce large-scale employment programs for the youth in its manifesto. Upon forming the government, promises could include expanding industrial areas, encouraging startups, and providing easy loan facilities for small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
Additionally, plans to promote agro-based industries could also be part of the manifesto. Nitish Kumar's government has previously emphasized rural development and investment in the agricultural sector. This time, the NDA's agenda may include policies related to the development of agro-processing units, the dairy industry, and rural enterprises.
Focus on Women and Youth
The NDA's manifesto will focus on empowering the state's women and youth. Special provisions may be made for women in the areas of self-reliance schemes, safety, and education. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has previously promoted several women's empowerment initiatives, such as the cycle scheme, reservations, and Self Help Groups.

This time, it is expected that the manifesto will include announcements for new employment schemes for women, skill development programs, and initiatives to encourage women entrepreneurship.
Skill Development for the Youth Generation
There is a clear indication from the NDA that this time, emphasis will be placed on improving the education system and skill development. The manifesto may include plans to launch skill training programs in the IT, healthcare, agriculture, and technology sectors.
Investment to be Prioritized
The manifesto is also likely to include several promises for strengthening Bihar's infrastructure. This will focus on expanding facilities such as roads, bridges, electricity, irrigation, and water supply. Additionally, improvements to industrial policy to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) may also be announced.
Health and Social Security Issues Also Included
Public expectations regarding the health sector have increased since the pandemic. The manifesto may announce steps to improve the quality of health services, increase the number of medical colleges, and ensure the availability of doctors in rural areas. Furthermore, promises could be made to strengthen social security schemes, old-age pensions, and welfare programs for the differently-abled.
Grand Alliance Manifesto Already Released
The opposition Grand Alliance (RJD, Congress, CPI, CPI(ML), CPI(M), and VIP) has already released its manifesto. Titled 'Bihar Ka Tejaswi Pran' (Bihar's Radiant Pledge), the manifesto promises to provide a government job to one member of every family within 20 days of forming the government.
The Grand Alliance's focus is on employment, social justice, women's empowerment, and farmer welfare. The opposition claims it will prioritize job creation and educational reforms to bring real change to Bihar.
