It remains unclear why Neeraj Chopra's name was removed from the entry list. In Nadeem's case, it is speculated that his recent calf muscle surgery may be the reason. The top Pakistani athlete underwent the surgery at the end of last month, raising questions about his fitness.
Earlier, on July 9th, the organizers of the Silesia Diamond League officially announced that Neeraj and Nadeem would participate in the competition. The entry list includes big names such as Julian Weber of Germany, Anderson Peters of Grenada, Julius Yego of Kenya, and Keshorn Walcott of Trinidad and Tobago. Neeraj Tops the Diamond League Standings
