On the occasion of Constitution Day at Manipal University, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla highlighted the crucial role of the Constitution in uniting the country's democratic traditions and diversities. He stated that the Constitution is not merely a document but the soul of the nation, providing direction and guidance to every Indian. Birla emphasized that "Know, Adopt, and Live the Constitution" is not just a message, but a path to strengthen civic consciousness.
He suggested that the study of the Constitution should be more effectively integrated into schools, colleges, and universities, enabling the new generation to better understand their heritage, rights, and duties. During the event, he administered the constitutional oath to all attendees. Alongside other guests, he also inaugurated a state-of-the-art gymnasium at the university's hostel.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla stated that the coming decade is being written in the name of India's youth. The global community today views the talent, innovation, and leadership capabilities of Indian youth as a new hope. Local MLA Dr. Kailash Chand Verma praised the role of youth power, highlighting their significant contribution to local development initiatives. Meanwhile, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Niti Nipun Sharma stated that the university's students are making excellent strides on national and international platforms, which reflects the institution's educational quality and commitment.
