Owaisi Condemns US Attack on Iran, Questions Pakistan's Double Standards

Owaisi Pakistan: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi bly criticized the US attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. He termed the attack a violation of international law, the UN Charter, and the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Owaisi stated that the US launched the attack without Congressional approval, which he considers a violation of the US Constitution itself. He further asserted that this action poses a grave threat to global peace.

Israel's Influence Behind the Iran Attack

Owaisi expressed concerns that this US action might embolden other Middle Eastern countries to pursue nuclear weapons out of fear of Israeli "blackmail and dominance." He warned of a potential regional arms race. Owaisi clarified that Iran's uranium enrichment program could reach 90 percent in the near future and is now irreversible.

Citing the US Intelligence Chief's Statement

Owaisi pointed out that US intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard had previously stated that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons. Despite this, the US bombing of Iran indicates a mere power display that disregards international norms.

Accusation of Concealing the Gaza Massacre

He also accused the US of using the attack on Iran as a diversionary tactic to deflect attention from the Israeli massacre in Gaza. Owaisi claimed that this US strategy serves only political gains and protects Israel.

Accusation of Israel Possessing Nuclear Weapons

Owaisi stated that Israel possesses 700 to 800 nuclear weapons while not having signed the NPT. He also highlighted the concerning fact that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is not permitted to inspect Israel's nuclear sites.

Direct Criticism of Pakistan

Owaisi satirized Pakistan's recent stance, noting its simultaneous advocacy for awarding US President Donald Trump the Nobel Peace Prize and criticism of the US attack on Iran. Owaisi questioned whether Trump's actions, including attacking a sovereign nation, merit a Nobel Peace Prize. He sarcastically remarked, "We should ask Pakistanis if they want Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize."

Targeting the Pakistani Army Chief

He further taunted Pakistan's army chief, Asim Munir, questioning whether his lunch with the US President was intended to facilitate the US bombing of Iran. He asserted that Pakistan's double standards are now exposed to the world.
