Patna Civil Court has granted bail to Faizal Khan, also known as Khan Sir, in the widely discussed coaching institute dispute and firing case in Patna. The court also granted bail to three co-accused associates named in the case, while both bodyguards, who had been in judicial custody, were granted regular bail.

The case is linked to a dispute and firing incident that took place in June outside a coaching institute in the Musallahpur Haat area of Patna. Following the incident, police registered a case against Khan Sir, his associates and both security personnel under various sections during the course of the investigation. Khan Sir subsequently approached the court seeking protection from arrest and anticipatory bail.

During the hearing, both sides presented their arguments before the court. The defence argued that Khan Sir had no direct role in the firing incident and that the actions of his security personnel were taken in self-defence. The prosecution presented its submissions based on the police investigation. After hearing the arguments, the court allowed the bail applications.

Following the court's order, Khan Sir, his three associates and both bodyguards have obtained relief. However, the grant of bail does not conclude the case. The police investigation and further judicial proceedings will continue, and the final determination of the allegations will be made during the trial and subsequent court hearings.

The case has remained under discussion in Bihar's educational and political circles over the past several weeks. Debate has continued over the dispute between coaching institutes, security arrangements and the firing incident. Following the grant of bail, the legal proceedings will now move to the next stage.
