November 25: A Historic Day for Ayodhya

November 25 will be etched in golden letters in Ayodhya's history. On this day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Ayodhya to hoist the flag atop the Ram Temple's spire.

  • Flag hoisting height: 21 feet
  • Auspicious date: Ram Vivah Panchami
  • Ritual duration: Five-day Vedic rituals from November 21 to November 25

With the flag hoisting, the Prime Minister will convey to the entire world that the construction of the Ram Temple has been completed. This day will become a symbol of pride and devotion for Ayodhya.

Flag's Form, Color, and Emblem

The responsibility for determining the flag's form, color, and emblem has been assigned to Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. This flag will be hoisted atop the temple's spire and will be regarded as a symbol of the Ram Temple worldwide. Originally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the Bhoomi Pujan (ground-breaking ceremony) for the Ram Temple on August 5, 2020. Subsequently, on January 22, 2024, Ram Lalla was enshrined in the grand temple. During this ceremony, the Prime Minister served as the chief patron and performed the 'Pran Pratishtha' (consecration) of Ram Lalla with his own hands. Now, following the completion of the temple's construction, the flag will be hoisted on November 25.

On the occasion of the flag hoisting, a five-day ritual will be organized from November 21 to November 25. These rituals will be performed in the presence of learned Vedic scholars from Ayodhya and Kashi. The objective of these ceremonies is to fully establish the Ram Temple from a religious and spiritual perspective. Additionally, it will convey to the global community that the temple's construction has been successfully completed.
