Rekha Gupta celebrated her birthday simply on Saturday in her ancestral village Nandgarh, located in Julana, Haryana. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, several senior BJP leaders, and local workers were present on this occasion. In Nandgarh and Julana, she met with party workers and participated in several social programs.

BJP's Only Woman Chief Minister
Rekha Gupta was born on July 19, 1974. Active in politics since her student life, Rekha has traveled from the student union to becoming the Chief Minister through hard work, struggle, and dedication. She became the first woman Chief Minister of Delhi in February 2025, when the Bharatiya Janata Party returned to power in the capital after 24 years.
Rekha Gupta is currently one of the two women Chief Ministers in the country — Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal on one hand, and on the other, she has achieved this feat as the first woman Chief Minister of Delhi.
While in the BJP, she worked in various organizational positions, from the Mahila Morcha to various organizational positions, and established a b leadership identity in the party. Since becoming Chief Minister, she has worked in several important areas such as women's safety, education, sanitation, and expansion of digital services.
