Kurukshetra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in a special program in Kurukshetra, Haryana, on Tuesday, commemorating the 350th Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Guru of Sikhs. On this occasion, PM Modi will also release a special coin and a postage stamp. According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), this commemoration will last for one year and will serve as a means to remember Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's valor and sacrifice across the country.
Prime Minister's Kurukshetra Visit
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate 'Panchjanya', a monument dedicated to Lord Krishna's sacred conch shell. Following this, the PM will visit the Mahabharata Experience Center, an immersive experiential center that vividly portrays significant episodes from the Mahabharata. This center presents the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Mahabharata through modern technology.
The main objective of PM Modi's visit is to honor Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's martyrdom and to convey his teachings to the current generation. Millions of devotees and citizens from various sectors are expected to participate in the program.

Prime Minister Modi to Unveil Special Coin and Postage Stamp
On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi will release a special coin and postage stamp for Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's 350th Martyrdom Day. This step will not only honor his sacrifice but also highlight his ideals and courage across the country.
According to the government's plan, this commemoration will be observed throughout the year, aiming to foster values of patience, courage, and religious tolerance among the nation's youth. Darshan at Brahma Sarovar
Prime Minister Modi will also perform Darshan and Puja at Brahma Sarovar. This sarovar is one of India's most sacred pilgrimage sites, believed to be where Lord Krishna imparted the divine knowledge of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna. The Prime Minister's visit is taking place during the International Gita Mahotsav. This festival will run from November 15 to December 5 and will include thousands of devotees and cultural representatives from India and abroad. The organization of the Gita Mahotsav is bringing a new wave of religious and cultural enthusiasm to Kurukshetra.
Haryana government minister JP Dalal expressed joy at the Prime Minister's arrival, stating that this occasion presents a unique opportunity to pay tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on his 350th Martyrdom Day. He added that PM Modi's arrival has heightened the spirit of enthusiasm and reverence in the state.
