Gorakhpur Imposes Heavy Vehicle Ban to Ayodhya Until November 26 Ahead of PM Modi's Visit

Gorakhpur traffic police have banned heavy commercial vehicles from Gorakhpur to Ayodhya until November 26. This measure enhances security for devotees and PM Modi's visit to the Ram Janmabhoomi ceremony.

Gorakhpur. The traffic police here have announced that trucks, trailers, containers, and other large commercial vehicles heading from Gorakhpur towards Ayodhya will not be permitted entry until November 26.

The reason for this measure is to enhance security and convenience for devotees, taking into account the flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya and the arrival of Narendra Modi.

The traffic police stated that the diversion has been implemented since Sunday midnight.

Barriers have been set up at the Link Expressway turn on the highway, and vehicle inspections have commenced, with heavy vehicles being diverted towards Lucknow.

Furthermore, if traffic pressure increases, smaller four-wheel vehicles may also be restricted.
