PM Modi Launches Development Projects in Bihar, Highlights Anti-Corruption Law

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated development projects worth ₹13,000 crore in Gaya, Bihar, and flagged off two new trains. He shared the achievements of the PM Awas Yojana and stated that under the new law, corrupt individuals, whether PM or CM, will lose their position if jailed. He also targeted the RJD.

Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated development projects worth ₹13,000 crore in Gaya, Bihar, and flagged off two new trains. He stated that under the new law, any individual committing corruption, whether the Prime Minister or Chief Minister, will lose their position if jailed. PM Modi highlighted the achievements of the PM Awas Yojana, praised the Bihar government, and targeted the RJD. He said that the scheme will continue until every poor person gets a permanent house.

Modi on the new law: Government will not run from jail

Prime Minister Modi said that a new law is being enacted which will bring all leaders, including the PM and CM, under its purview. If a leader is unable to secure bail within 30 days, they will have to relinquish their position on the 31st day.

The PM clarified that a corrupt individual will not only go to jail but will also lose their position. He said that there can be no compromise with the public's trust in a democracy.

Pledge for PM Awas Yojana for the poor

The Prime Minister said, "We don't just provide walls, but also give the poor their dignity. The PM Awas Yojana will continue until every poor person gets a house." He also said that this year's Diwali and Chhath Puja will be celebrated with more fanfare in Bihar than before, and those who have been left out of the scheme so far will also get its benefits.

PM Modi said that he has pledged that every citizen will get a permanent house and will live peacefully. He praised the Bihar government, saying that the pace of development and the execution of projects in the state are impressive.

Respect for Bihar's culture and religion

The Prime Minister said that Gaya is the sacred land where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. He praised the Bihar government for its rapid development and said that the double-engine government is working continuously. The PM also respected the local culture and faith by starting his speech in Magahi language.

Strict stance on security and terrorism

PM Modi also emphasized terrorism in his address. He said that Operation Sindoor has provided a new direction to India's defense policy. He said that now no terrorist will be able to escape after attacking India. No matter where the terrorists hide, India's missiles will find and eliminate them.

The Prime Minister assured the people of Bihar that the government is not only focusing on development but is also vigilant towards security and social justice. He said that the land of Bihar has always fulfilled its pledges and will continue to do so.
