New Farmer's School Launched in Prayagraj to Boost Agricultural Practices

Prayagraj district launches a farmer's school in 575 villages, offering training in modern farming, horticulture, and animal husbandry, alongside access to government schemes.

Prayagraj – Starting December 14th, a special farmer’s school will be launched in 575 villages across the district. This school will provide information on the latest techniques in modern farming, horticulture, and animal husbandry.

Under this initiative, 23 blocks encompassing villages have been selected. Daily three-hour classes will be held in these villages, covering topics such as leather-agriculture, soil management, pest control, horticulture, and animal husbandry related information.

Beyond just farming methods, the program will also facilitate access to government schemes like the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and PM KUSUM, and provide assistance in resolving any difficulties farmers may encounter during registration.

The administration’s objective with this scheme is to connect farmers with modern agricultural practices, thereby increasing their income and making farming more profitable and sustainable.
