Punjab National Bank has announced recruitment for 5,138 apprentice positions across the country. Graduate candidates can apply online until 24 February 2026.
The application process commenced on 8 February and will remain open through 24 February 2026. Eligible graduates from across India may submit applications online.
Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Applicants must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 28 years. Age will be calculated as of 1 January 2026. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be eligible for age relaxation in accordance with government rules.
Application Fee and Selection Process
The application fee is set at Rs 944 for General, OBC and EWS categories. For SC/ST and female candidates, the fee is Rs 708, while PwD candidates are required to pay Rs 236.
The selection process will comprise an online written examination, document verification, a local language test and a medical examination. The written examination will include questions from general knowledge, mathematics, reasoning and English.
Stipend and Posting
During the training period, selected candidates posted in rural, semi-urban and urban areas will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 12,300. Those posted in metro cities will receive Rs 15,000 per month.

Candidates can apply by visiting pnb.bank.in and selecting the Apprentices option under Employment Opportunities. After completing registration and uploading photograph and signature, applicants must submit the form and retain a printout for record.
