Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has given a significant gift to strengthen transportation services in Rajasthan. He flagged off 162 new buses, which have been added to the रोडवेज (roadways) fleet, after reaching Amar Jawan Jyoti.
Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has taken a major initiative to strengthen transportation services in Rajasthan and provide better facilities to passengers. On Friday, the Chief Minister flagged off 162 new buses inducted into the रोडवेज fleet at the Amar Jawan Jyoti site. Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa was also present on this occasion and welcomed the Chief Minister by adorning him with a garland.
New Fleet of Buses and Facilities
The रोडवेज administration has procured a total of 300 new buses, with the first consignment comprising 162 buses. Among these are two super luxury buses, designed with the comfort and safety of passengers in mind. Previously, रोडवेज had already introduced 10 super luxury buses on the Delhi route. The newly acquired buses will also operate to prominent religious destinations in Rajasthan, including Kanchi Dham.
CM Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the introduction of new buses will provide the residents of the state with not only comfortable but also secure travel assurance. He also mentioned that the government's endeavor is to modernize रोडवेज services and ensure better connectivity between rural and urban areas.

In a conversation with the media, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa informed that 162 new buses have been flagged off for operation. He said, “The inclusion of these new buses will strengthen the रोडवेज fleet and provide reliable and comfortable transportation services to passengers. The remaining 300 buses will also be gradually inducted into the fleet in the coming days. Additionally, 500 contracted buses will also join रोडवेज soon.”
The state government is serious about empowering and expanding रोडवेज. Through the procurement and operation of new buses, the government aims to ensure that all major cities and rural areas of the state are connected with efficient and safe transportation services.
