Rajasthan politics has once again heated up. Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra has directly leveled serious allegations against the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). During the ‘Save the Constitution’ rally held in Chomu town, Jaipur on Sunday, Dotasra said that the state government led by Bhajanlal Sharma is working entirely on the instructions of the RSS. He claimed that RSS people are directly present in the offices of the Chief Minister and ministers and are influencing administrative decisions.
Dotasra alleged that the words of elected representatives are being ignored and the government has completely turned its back on the issues of the public. He warned that such a working style is dangerous for democracy and can harm the basic spirit of the Constitution.
This is the real Gujarat Model
In his speech, Dotasra also took aim at the BJP's much-discussed ‘Gujarat Model.’ He said that the BJP is trying to implement the same model in Rajasthan, in which a weak leadership is established and the government is run through bureaucracy. Dotasra alleged, "This is the real Gujarat model—make the weakest person the Chief Minister, make the weakest MLAs ministers, and then use bureaucrats to run a corrupt government."
He also said that the aim of this strategy is to weaken democratic institutions and limit the role of public representatives. Dotasra warned that this is hidden power operation, which is against the expectations of the public and the spirit of democracy.
Threat to the Constitution and Democracy
Dotasra, attacking the central government, also said that the BJP wants to implement the ideology of the RSS in the Constitution. He said that the BJP wants to remove words like ‘secularism’ and ‘socialism’ from the Constitution, which are the foundation of Indian democracy. Dotasra also expressed concern over the statements of the Vice President and said that if people sitting on constitutional posts also start speaking the language of the RSS, then it is very dangerous.
He also alleged that whoever raises their voice against the RSS is intimidated through agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Dotasra said, "I spoke against the RSS and the ED was sent to my house, but we are not afraid."
Congress will protect the Constitution with full strength
Dotasra reiterated that the Congress party is fully committed to protecting the Constitution. He said that the BJP wants to divide the country with the politics of hatred and take it towards laws like China and Russia. But the Congress will not allow this agenda to succeed. He appealed to the people to stand with the Congress in this fight so that democracy and the Constitution can be saved.
