Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said the state will receive its full share of Yamuna river water and that water distribution will be carried out in accordance with the 1994 agreement. He said the state government would ensure that Rajasthan receives its entitled allocation without any injustice.

The Chief Minister made the statement after returning to Jaipur following the Yamuna water agreement, where he received a ceremonial welcome. A roadshow was organised from the airport to the BJP state headquarters, with party workers and office-bearers participating.

Sharma said the government plans to lay an approximately 300-kilometre pipeline to bring Yamuna river water to Rajasthan. He said the government's priority is to begin the project at the earliest and complete it within the stipulated timeline.

He said the project would help address the state's water shortage. According to the Chief Minister, it will provide irrigation water to farmers, ensure a stable water supply for industries, and make clean drinking water available to the public.

Sharma criticised the opposition, saying it should first read the 1994 water agreement. He said Rajasthan's full entitlement to Yamuna water would be ensured.

He alleged that the opposition was making political statements while ignoring the facts. He said his government remains committed to implementing development projects.

The Chief Minister also made an announcement regarding electricity generation. He said the state government has developed 12,000 MW of power generation capacity and that Rajasthan will become a power-surplus state in the future.

He said Rajasthan would eventually be in a position to supply electricity to other states and described it as an important step for the state's economic and industrial progress.

During his address, Sharma made a political remark, stating that opposition leader Rahul Gandhi says he will "produce gold from potatoes," while his government's objective is to bring Yamuna water to Rajasthan and enable farmers to prosper. He said farmers in the Shekhawati region, in particular, would benefit from the project and that the area would reach new levels of agricultural production.

Following the Yamuna water agreement, the Chief Minister was welcomed upon his arrival in Jaipur. A roadshow was held in electric buses from the airport to the BJP state headquarters.

The convoy included four electric buses. The first bus carried Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and BJP state president Madan Rathore, while the other buses carried ministers, legislators and party office-bearers.

Party workers welcomed the Chief Minister at Jawahar Circle, Gandhi Circle and Rambagh Circle with drums and traditional ceremonies. Earthen pots were also used at several locations as part of the welcome, which was presented symbolically in connection with the water project.

Sharma accused the Congress of neglecting the Shekhawati region. He said Congress governments had ignored the region's water-related issues for years and limited themselves to electoral promises.

He said his government is advancing pending projects, including the ERCP, the Yamuna water agreement and the Devas project, which he said had remained pending for the past 40 to 50 years.

The Chief Minister said his government's primary focus is the overall development of Rajasthan. He said work is progressing across the water, power, agriculture and industrial sectors.

He said the government's objective is to make Rajasthan a self-reliant and prosperous state where people have access to essential basic facilities.
