The University of Kota has commenced the online application process for the Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (SET) 2026. Candidates aspiring to become Assistant Professors in higher educational institutions across Rajasthan can now submit their applications online. According to the schedule issued by the university, the last date to apply is July 15, 2026, while the examination will be conducted on September 6, 2026.
The Rajasthan SET 2026 is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges across the state. Interested candidates can submit their applications within the stipulated deadline through the official SET 2026 portal of the University of Kota.
As per the official notification, the last date for submission of applications for Rajasthan SET 2026 is July 15, 2026. Applications will be accepted only through the online mode, and applications submitted through any other method will not be considered valid.
To apply for Rajasthan SET 2026, candidates must have passed graduation from a recognised university or institution with a minimum of 55 percent marks. Reserved category candidates are eligible for relaxation in marks as per rules. Candidates belonging to OBC, SC, ST and Divyang categories must have secured at least 50 percent marks. Applicants are advised to verify their academic qualifications and other eligibility conditions before submitting their applications.
Candidates are required to pay the prescribed application fee while submitting the form. The application fee for candidates belonging to the General category and those from states outside Rajasthan is ₹1,500. Candidates from the EWS and OBC categories are required to pay ₹1,200. The application fee for SC, ST and Divyang candidates has been fixed at ₹750. The fee can be paid through online mode.
Candidates must first visit the official website and click on the Rajasthan SET 2026 registration link. After entering the required details, applicants must complete the application form and upload scanned copies of the prescribed documents. Once all details have been verified, candidates can submit the form after paying the application fee. Applicants are advised to keep a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
Rajasthan SET 2026 will be conducted on September 6, 2026, at various examination centres across the state. Admit cards for the examination will be released a few days before the test date. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards using their login credentials.
