The application process is currently online.

RITES Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has initiated a large-scale recruitment drive for 252 apprentice positions for youth across the country. This process will be completed without any written examination or interview, with selection based solely on candidates' qualifications and marks. Graduate, diploma, and ITI-qualified young individuals can apply for these positions. RITES has issued a notification stating that online applications are already ongoing, and candidates who meet the specified criteria will be selected directly through a merit list. This opportunity provides both training and a stipend to young individuals.

Positions Available for Recruitment and Eligibility Criteria

In this recruitment drive, the highest number of positions, 146, are designated for Graduate Apprentices. Engineering graduates (BE/B.Tech/B.Arch) and non-engineering graduates (BA, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, BCA) are eligible for these posts. Additionally, there are 49 positions for Diploma Apprentices, requiring a three-year engineering diploma.

For ITI-qualified candidates, 57 positions have been included as Trade Apprentices. To apply for these positions, an ITI certificate from a recognized institution is mandatory. A minimum of 60 percent marks has been set for General and EWS category candidates in this recruitment, while 50 percent marks are sufficient for reserved category candidates.

Selection Process and Stipend

RITES has kept the selection process very straightforward. A merit list of candidates will be prepared directly based on their qualifications and marks. There will be no examination, interview, or separate evaluation process for selection. This makes the opportunity even more accessible for young individuals.

During the apprenticeship, selected candidates will also receive a monthly stipend. Graduate Apprentices will receive approximately 14,000 rupees, Diploma Apprentices around 12,000 rupees, and ITI Trade Apprentices up to 10,000 rupees. This makes the opportunity financially beneficial for new entrants.

How to Complete the Application Process

Candidates must visit the official RITES website to apply. From there, they can download the “Apprentices Recruitment 2025” notification available in the “Careers” section. After reading all instructions, the application process must be completed by registering online.
