For Which Subjects is the Recruitment?
Under this recruitment, vacancies will be filled for Senior Teachers in 10 subjects within the Secondary Education Department. These include:

- Gujarati
- Science
- Social Science
Educational Qualification
The subject-wise qualification details are as follows:
- Hindi, English, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, and Gujarati
Candidates must possess a Graduation degree in the relevant subject. Additionally, a B.Ed. degree is mandatory. - Science
Candidates must have a Graduation degree with any two of the following subjects as optional subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Micro Biology, Bio-Technology, and Bio-Chemistry. A B.Ed. degree is also required. - Social Science
Candidates must have studied any two of the following subjects as optional subjects: History, Political Science, Sociology, Geography, Economics, Public Administration, and Philosophy. A B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
Age Limit
The minimum age for this recruitment is 18 years, and the maximum age is 40 years. This age limit will apply to most subjects, such as Hindi, English, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Science, Social Science, Urdu, and Punjabi.
Special Relaxation:
- Candidates for Sindhi and Gujarati subjects will be given an additional age relaxation of 3 years in the maximum age limit.
- Age relaxation for reserved categories will be provided separately as per the rules of the State Government.
