The RRB NTPC Graduate Level CBT-2 examination will be conducted on October 13, 2025. Candidates will be able to download city slips from October 3 and admit cards from October 9-10. The exam will consist of 120 questions, and a total of 8383 posts will be recruited.
RRB NTPC 2025: The second stage, CBT-2, of the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate Level recruitment examination by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will be held on October 13, 2025. The examination will be conducted on the same day across designated centers nationwide. Only candidates who have successfully cleared the CBT-1 examination will be eligible to appear for this exam.
City Intimation Slip on October 3
According to the official notice from RRB, the Exam City Intimation Slip will be released 10 days before the exam date. This means candidates will be able to download their city slips starting October 3, 2025. This slip will inform candidates about the city where their exam will be held, allowing them to make travel and accommodation arrangements in advance.
When will Admit Cards be released?
For candidates appearing in the CBT-2 examination, admit cards will be issued 4 days prior to the exam date, i.e., on October 9 or 10, 2025. Admit cards will only be available online, and candidates will be able to download them from the official website rrbcdg.gov.in. Please note that no admit card will be sent to any candidate via post or other offline methods.
Steps to Download Admit Card
- First, visit the official website rrbcdg.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link related to Admit Card / City Slip.
- Enter the required information such as registration number and date of birth.
- After submitting the information, your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download it and keep a printout safe.
CBT-2 Exam Pattern
The RRB NTPC Graduate Level CBT-2 examination will consist of a total of 120 questions, for which candidates will be allotted 90 minutes to solve.
- General Awareness: 50 Questions
- Mathematics: 35 Questions
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: 35 Questions
The questions will be multiple-choice (MCQ), and negative marking will be applicable for each incorrect answer.
Cutoff and Qualification Criteria
RRB has set different cutoffs for various categories for the CBT-2 examination. The minimum qualifying marks will vary for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, ESM, and PwBD categories. Candidates will be selected based on their scores and the cutoff.
The results for RRB NTPC CBT-1 have already been released. Only candidates who were successful in CBT-1 will be eligible to appear for the CBT-2 examination. After CBT-2, candidates will have to undergo further processes such as document verification and medical tests.
