Sachin Pilot Questions Jagdeep Dhankhar's Resignation, Criticizes BJP

Sachin Pilot Raises Questions on Vice President Dhankhar's Resignation. He termed it sudden and unusual, also levying allegations on the BJP government regarding the misuse of institutions and failure on law and order.

Sachin Pilot on Vice President: The political landscape of the country is once again abuzz as the sudden resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has surprised everyone. On this development, senior Congress leader and party General Secretary Sachin Pilot has made a significant statement. Refusing to consider this resignation a normal procedure, he stated that something must have happened behind the scenes that has not yet been made public.

Pilot Expresses Doubt Over Resignation

While speaking to reporters in Tonk, Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot said that the Vice President holds the second highest constitutional post in the country. In such a situation, a sudden resignation without any clear reason is unusual. He said that departure from such a post takes place through a formal, dignified, and public process. However, the kind of secrecy that has been maintained regarding Dhankhar's resignation makes it clear that something big has happened that has not yet come to light.

Targeting the BJP and Central Government

On this occasion, Sachin Pilot also bly attacked the BJP and the central government. He alleged that the BJP has continuously misused constitutional institutions and posts in the past years. Pilot said that transparency is necessary in such matters because when people sitting on the top constitutional posts of the country suddenly leave their posts, it is natural for questions to arise among the public.

Pilot Also Speaks on Naresh Meena's Foot March

Sachin Pilot also supported the 'anti-corruption' foot march being carried out by independent candidate Naresh Meena. He said that everyone in a democracy has the right to express their views and advocate for their rights. He also added that when young people demand change in society, they should not be ignored.

Meena, who had contested the by-election from the Deoli-Uniara assembly constituency, was arrested some time ago on charges of slapping an SDM. He was recently granted bail by the Rajasthan High Court. In this context, Pilot said that it is necessary that the voice of the youth is heard and that they get a platform to express their views in a democratic way.

"The Youth Must Be Heard"

Pilot further said that it is a good thing that the youth are now speaking out openly, but the question is whether the leaders sitting in Jaipur and Delhi listen to them seriously. He said that those who do politics in the name of youth should also give them their rights and do concrete work for their future.

Remarks on Prime Minister's Foreign Trips

Sachin Pilot also took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's foreign trips. He said that the Prime Minister probably does not have time to pay attention to the internal problems of the country because he remains constantly busy with foreign tours. He questioned whether issues like the problems of the youth, unemployment, and corruption have now become a priority.

Concerns Over Law and Order in Rajasthan

Targeting the state's BJP government, Sachin Pilot said that the law and order situation in Rajasthan is continuously deteriorating. He alleged that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma's government has lost control over governance and administration. Pilot said that all the promises related to development, employment, and security are proving to be hollow. The public is neither getting any relief nor is any concrete plan visible on the ground.
