The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Women’s T20 International rankings, with significant changes at the top of the bowling charts. Pakistan spinner Sadia Iqbal has reclaimed the No. 1 position, while India’s Renuka Singh Thakur has moved into the top five.
Sadia Iqbal climbed two places to become the No. 1 ranked Women’s T20I bowler following her performance in the recent three-match T20I series against South Africa. She claimed five wickets in the series and finished as the joint-highest wicket-taker. In the decisive match at Benoni, she returned figures of 3/18, which lifted her back to the top of the ICC Women’s T20I bowling rankings.
Sadia had previously held the No. 1 ranking at the end of 2024 before Australia fast bowler Annabel Sutherland overtook her last month. With her latest performances, she has regained the top position.
