Sainik School Jhunjhunu has invited applications for 18 teaching and non-teaching posts, including PGT, TGT, Counsellor, PTI-cum-Matron, Art Master, Lab Assistant, Music Teacher/Band Master, UDC, LDC, Driver, Electrician-cum-Pump Operator and Nursing Sister. Eligible candidates can submit their applications by Speed Post so that they reach the school by September 12, 2026.
The recruitment includes both regular and contractual positions. The teaching posts include PGT Physics, PGT Chemistry, PGT Maths, TGT Maths, TGT English and TGT Social Science.
Other vacancies include Counsellor, PEM/PTI-cum-Matron, Art Master, Physics, Chemistry and Biology Lab Assistants, Music Teacher/Band Master, UDC, LDC, Driver, Electrician-cum-Pump Operator and Nursing Sister.
Educational qualifications and other eligibility conditions vary by post. Candidates should check the requirements for the specific post before submitting their applications.
For PGT Physics, Chemistry and Maths, candidates must have a Master's Degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject with at least 50 percent marks. A B.Ed or equivalent degree with the prescribed marks is also required. Candidates must also have the ability to teach in English Medium.
For TGT Maths and other TGT posts, candidates must have a four-year Integrated Degree Course or a Bachelor's Degree along with B.Ed as prescribed. CTET or STET Level-2 qualification is also required for TGT posts.
For TGT Social Science, the prescribed educational qualification includes subjects such as Geography, Political Science, Economics, Sociology and History. Candidates must check the complete eligibility requirements as specified in the notification.
For the Counsellor post, qualifications related to Psychology or Child Development are required. The PTI-cum-Matron post requires qualifications related to Physical Education or Sports. Candidates applying for Art Master must have a diploma or degree related to Painting or Fine Arts.
Candidates applying for Lab Assistant posts can be Class 12 pass in the Science Stream. UDC applicants require graduation, two years of Office Experience and the prescribed Typing Speed. LDC candidates must have passed Class 10 and possess Typing and Computer Skills. The Driver post requires Class 10 qualification and a Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
For PGT posts, the prescribed age limit is 21 to 40 years. For TGT posts, candidates should be between 21 and 35 years of age. The age limit for Counsellor, PTI-cum-Matron, Art Master and other posts is 18 to 50 years. Age will be calculated as of September 30, 2026.
The salary varies according to the post. Regular PGT posts carry a basic salary of ₹47,600 under Pay Level-08 along with other allowances. TGT Maths carries a salary of ₹44,900 under Pay Level-07 along with other allowances as per the 7th Pay Commission.
Among contractual posts, Counsellor, PTI-cum-Matron and Art Master will receive ₹63,758 per month. The salary for Lab Assistant and UDC Clerk is ₹38,250 per month. Music Teacher/Band Master will receive ₹46,720, while LDC, Driver and Electrician posts carry a monthly salary of ₹31,840. The monthly salary for Nursing Sister is ₹38,250.
Regular staff will also receive facilities including Rent-Free Accommodation, Transport Allowance, DA and Medical Allowance in addition to the basic salary. Subsidised Education for two children from Classes 6 to 8 will also be available at the school.
The application process for the recruitment is offline. Candidates must download the Application Form Format provided in the notification, fill in the required details and send the application along with the necessary documents to the school through Speed Post.
The Application Fee is ₹500 for General and OBC category candidates, while SC and ST category candidates have to pay ₹250. The fee must be paid through Demand Draft.
