September 5, 2025, marks the Thrayodashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada, which is also the day of Shukra Pradosh Vrat. Worshipping Lord Shiva during the Pradosh period, from 06:50 PM to 07:59 PM on this day, is considered auspicious. During the puja, one should perform Jalabhishek, offer flowers, Belpatra, and chant mantras.

Method of Worship during Pradosh Kaal

Worshipping Lord Shiva during the Pradosh Kaal on the day of Pradosh Vrat is considered extremely auspicious. On September 5, this period will be from 06:50 PM to 07:59 PM. After bathing and meditation, one should begin the puja by wearing clean clothes.

During the puja, one should offer flowers, Akshat, water, Bhang, Dhatura, and Belpatra to Lord Shiva. If possible, one should also perform Jalabhishek of the Shivling. After this, chanting the Shiva Chalisa and mantras is considered auspicious. Reciting the Pradosh Vrat Katha during the puja is also a part of the tradition.
