She needs just 28 runs to complete 10,000 International runs, which she can achieve in the third match of the India and Sri Lanka T20 series. Before Smriti, only Mithali Raj has achieved this feat for India, having scored 10,868 runs in 333 International matches across all formats.
Globally, only three women cricketers have crossed the 10,000-run mark in international cricket so far. If Smriti Mandhana reaches this milestone, she will become the fourth woman cricketer in the world to do so.
