She was admitted on Sunday night due to abdominal discomfort and is under the care of specialist doctors.

Admission due to abdominal discomfort

According to reports, Sonia Gandhi complained of abdominal pain and discomfort, leading to her admission to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital at 9 pm on Sunday. After a preliminary examination, doctors decided to admit her. She is being treated by a team of senior doctors from the hospital's gastroenterology surgery department, led by Dr. S. Nandi.

Medical examinations and monitoring

The hospital administration stated that Sonia Gandhi has undergone several tests, including an MRI, to ascertain her health status. Doctors are constantly monitoring her health and providing all necessary medical support.

Discharge dependent on MRI report

According to hospital chairman Dr. Ajay Swarup, if Sonia Gandhi's MRI report is normal, she may be discharged from the hospital on Tuesday. While her condition is improving, the final decision will be taken after the test results are received.

Confirmation from the Congress party

The Congress party has also confirmed that Sonia Gandhi's condition is stable and there is no cause for concern. Senior party leaders have appealed to the public to pray for her speedy recovery.
