South Africa continued their winning run in the T20 World Cup 2026 with a six-wicket victory over UAE in the 34th match, completing an unbeaten group stage campaign.
At the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, captain Aiden Markram won the toss and opted to bowl first. The decision proved effective as South Africa restricted UAE to 122 for 6. In response, South Africa chased down the target of 123 runs in 13.2 overs, losing four wickets to secure a six-wicket win.
UAE Innings
UAE posted 122 for 6 in their allotted overs. Alishan Sharafu top-scored with 45 runs. Captain Muhammad Waseem made 22 runs off 12 balls, while the remaining batters were unable to register substantial scores, resulting in the total being limited to 122.

Corbin Bosch delivered figures of 4 overs, 12 runs, and 3 wickets. Anrich Nortje claimed 2 wickets, and George Linde took 1 wicket. Bosch’s spell ensured UAE were prevented from building a larger total.
South Africa Innings
Chasing 123, South Africa began positively but lost their first wicket at 32 runs. Ryan Rickelton scored 30 runs off 16 balls to stabilise the innings. Dewald Brevis added 36 runs from 25 balls to guide the chase. South Africa reached 123 for 4 in 13.2 overs to seal the victory.
