SSC Opens Correction Window for MTS and Havaldar Recruitment 2025 Application Forms. Candidates can make online corrections until July 31st.
SSC MTS 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has initiated the application form correction process for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar Recruitment 2025. The correction window will remain open from July 29th to July 31st, 2025, as announced by the Commission. Candidates who have made errors while filling out the application can correct them online within the stipulated period. This facility is available on the official website of the Commission: ssc.gov.in.
Fees Prescribed for Correction
SSC has prescribed fees for corrections in the application form. Candidates will have to pay a fee of ₹200 for the first correction. If a candidate wishes to make corrections to the form a second time, they will have to pay a fee of ₹500. The correction fee will only be accepted through online mode. The correction process will be completed only after the fee payment.
Procedure for Correction
To correct the form, candidates must first visit the SSC website ssc.gov.in. Click on the login option on the homepage. Log in by entering your registration details and password. After logging in, open the application form and correct the fields in which errors have occurred. Then, pay the correction fee and submit the form. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form after correction and keep it safe.
Exam Date and Admit Card Information
The SSC MTS and Havaldar recruitment examination will be conducted from September 20th to October 24th, 2025. This examination will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) at various centers across the country. The exam city slip will be made available on the website 10 days before the examination. Admit cards will be released for download 4 days before the exam date. Admit cards will not be sent to any candidate by post or any other means.
Number of Vacancies
Under this recruitment process of SSC, a total of 5464 posts will be filled. This includes 4375 posts for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and 1089 posts reserved for Havaldar. These recruitments will be done in the ministries, departments and other government offices of the central government. The selection process includes a computer-based examination along with Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification and medical examination for the post of Havaldar.
Eligibility and Age Limit
Candidates applying for this recruitment must have passed 10th from a recognized board. The minimum age for general category candidates is 18 years and the maximum age is 25 or 27 years (depending on the post). Reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per rules.
Important Dates Related to the Recruitment Process
SSC has already announced some important dates related to MTS and Havaldar recruitment. The application process ran from June 26th to July 25th, 2025. Now the correction window is available from July 29th to July 31st, 2025. The examination will be conducted from September 20th to October 24th, 2025.

The correction window provided by SSC is a golden opportunity for the candidates. If a candidate has made a mistake in filling the name, date of birth, category, educational qualification or other necessary information in the application form, then he/she can correct it for the last time through this correction window.
