The company has secured another significant project, further strengthening its position in India's green energy initiative. A new order for a 170.1 MW wind power project in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh, has not only enhanced the company's reputation but also positively impacted its stock market performance.

New Project Strengthens Stock Market Performance

On Friday, June 21, 2025, while most investors anticipated a weekend slowdown, Suzlon's shares saw a significant surge. The company's shares rose by approximately three percent, reaching ₹64.26. While the shares had been declining for the previous three trading days, the announcement of this new project reinvigorated market enthusiasm.

Third Major Contract from AMPIN

This contract is with AMPIN Energy Transition, marking the third project between the two companies. This demonstrates AMPIN's b confidence in Suzlon's technological expertise and performance. The project involves the supply of 54 advanced S144 wind turbine generators, each with a capacity of 3.15 MW, totaling 170.1 MW.

Suzlon's responsibilities under this contract extend beyond turbine supply to include installation, commissioning, operation, and long-term maintenance. This signifies Suzlon's provision of end-to-end solutions, further showcasing its engineering and project management capabilities.

Historic Surge in Financial Performance

Beyond projects, the company's financial performance is also rapidly strengthening. In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025, Suzlon delivered 573 MW, its highest single-quarter delivery to date. For the entire fiscal year, the company delivered a total of 1.55 GW. Furthermore, its total order book has reached 5.6 GW, an all-time high.

Demand for the S144 wind turbine generator has also increased significantly. The company has surpassed 5 GW in supply of this model, clearly indicating its market popularity and widespread acceptance of its technology.

Expanded Production Capacity and Investment

The company is not only focused on securing projects but also on consistently strengthening its production and supply chain capabilities. Suzlon has established 10 new manufacturing units for the production of the S144-3.X MW series. Additionally, nacelle production capacity has been expanded at units in Daman and Pondicherry. These efforts are aimed at meeting the growing demand for wind energy in India and supporting the 'Make in India' initiative.

Exceptional Returns for Investors in the Stock Market

This period has been highly beneficial for investors. Suzlon Energy shares have increased by approximately 25 percent in the past year and nearly 340 percent in the past two years. Consequently, the number of retail investors has grown to over 5.6 million.

Between May 9th and May 30th, the company's shares saw a remarkable rise, increasing from ₹52.60 to ₹71.50. This represents a 36 percent return in just 16 trading sessions. This performance has not only been profitable for investors but also indicates a bright future for Suzlon in the renewable energy sector.

Record-Breaking Profits

Suzlon Energy recorded phenomenal profits in fiscal year 2025. The company's net profit increased from ₹660 crore in the previous year to ₹2,072 crore. This surge demonstrates improvements across revenue, management, and operational efficiency. Cost control, timely project completion, and accurate forecasting of growing demand are driving the company's profitability.
