Tej Pratap's Response to the Question of Becoming Chief Minister
Responding to the question of becoming Chief Minister, Tej Pratap said that the people decide. He stated that the public makes and breaks things, and therefore, whatever decision comes, he will respect the people's verdict.
He further added that political legacy is not just about a position, but about ideology. The ideology of social justice, complete change, and revolution stems from Lohia, Karpoori Thakur, and Jayaprakash Narayan. Lalu Prasad Yadav also advanced this ideology, and he himself walks the same path.
When asked if he would like to become Chief Minister if given the opportunity, Tej Pratap said, "Why would anyone miss an opportunity when it arises?" He mentioned that his father, Lalu Yadav, always used to say that if someone gets a chance to attain a high position, they should not lose it.
However, he also clarified that he is not pursuing politics out of a desire for personal office. According to him, the main question right now is what would be the best path for Bihar, and the public will decide that on November 14.
