Thamma Box Office Sensation: Ayushmann Khurrana & Rashmika Mandanna's Film Crosses ₹131 Crore, Surpasses Salman Khan's Sikandar

Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's recently released film 'Thamma' has created a sensation at the box office. Released during Diwali, this romantic horror comedy film continues to draw audiences to cinemas even in its third consecutive week.

Entertainment News: Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's romantic horror comedy film 'Thamma' was released on Diwali and has successfully maintained a b presence at the box office even in its third week. Despite the release of several new films, 'Thamma' showed a good gain on its third Saturday. Thanks to positive audience response and word-of-mouth, the film collected well on its third Sunday, which was its 20th day of release.

According to reports, the film grossed approximately ₹3.25 crore on its third Sunday, bringing its total box office collection close to ₹112.40 crore. This figure proves that 'Thamma' continues to be well-received by audiences.

'Thamma' also earned ₹1.65 crore at the box office on its 20th day of release. According to Sacnilk's early trend report, the film's earnings saw a good increase on the third Sunday, pushing its total box office collection to ₹131.05 crore. With this performance, 'Thamma' not only maintained its b hold in the third week but also surpassed the lifetime collection of Salman Khan's film 'Sikandar,' which stood at ₹129.95 crore.

Total Box Office Journey of 20 Days

Although 'Thamma's' earnings graph saw a slight dip in the second week, the film regained momentum in the third week. Here's a brief overview of the film's box office journey so far:

  • First Week: ₹108.4 crore
  • Second Week: ₹18.7 crore (82.75% drop)
  • Third Friday (Day 18): ₹0.80 crore
  • Third Saturday (Day 19): ₹1.5 crore
  • Third Sunday (Day 20): ₹1.65 crore
  • Total Collection (20 days): ₹131.05 crore

With these figures, 'Thamma' is now rapidly moving towards the ₹150 crore club. The film still needs to earn approximately ₹19 crore more to achieve this milestone.

'Thamma' Could Become Ayushmann Khurrana's Biggest Hit

'Thamma' has proven to be the biggest opening film of Ayushmann Khurrana's career. Audiences have thoroughly enjoyed this romantic horror comedy, especially the film's story, music, and the chemistry between Ayushmann and Rashmika. Trade experts believe that given the film's b performance even in its third week, it is clear that 'Thamma' could soon enter the ₹150 crore club.

'Thamma' tells the story of a boy who returns to his village and encounters a strange spirit there. The interesting blend of horror and comedy in the film has been greatly appreciated by the audience. The film's dialogues, songs, and entertaining twists have placed it in the category of family entertainment. Ayushmann Khurrana's comic timing and Rashmika Mandanna's innocence have made the film even more watchable.

Facing Competition from 'De De Pyaar De 2'

Although the film's momentum remains b, Ajay Devgn's film 'De De Pyaar De 2' is set to release on November 14. It is believed that this major release could impact 'Thamma's' earnings. Nevertheless, trade analysts suggest that if the film remains stable in the coming days, it could comfortably cross the ₹150 crore mark.

'Thamma' has not only maintained a b hold at the box office but has also surpassed Salman Khan's film 'Sikandar'. 'Sikandar' had a lifetime collection of ₹129.95 crore, which 'Thamma' exceeded on its 20th day.
