Tiger Shroff’s Team Warns of Legal Action Over Fake Statements and AI Videos

Tiger Shroff’s team has warned of possible legal action over fake statements, misleading reports and AI-generated videos circulated in his name after a reported firing incident in Mumbai on October 18.

Tiger Shroff’s team has issued its first official response following a reported firing incident involving the Bollywood actor in Mumbai on October 18, warning against fake statements, misleading reports and videos generated using artificial intelligence (AI) that are being circulated in his name.

The team said the actor had not issued any public statement or shared any video regarding the incident. It warned that legal action could be taken against individuals responsible for creating or circulating misleading content and urged the public to verify the authenticity of viral posts before believing or sharing them.

According to media reports, a firing incident was reported outside a football club in Mumbai at around 7 pm on October 18. The reports stated that shots were fired at the actor’s car as he was leaving the club.

A video purportedly linked to the incident subsequently circulated on social media, raising questions about the actor’s security.

Media reports claimed that Tiger Shroff remained safe in the incident, while his driver and another person present at the location were reportedly injured. However, the details of the incident and the condition of those reportedly injured require independent verification.

The incident prompted several claims and statements to circulate on social media. In response, the actor’s team clarified that statements and videos being attributed to Shroff in connection with the incident should not be treated as official communications from the actor.

In its statement, Shroff’s team said the actor had neither made a public statement nor shared a video regarding the recent incident. According to the team, some online content was being incorrectly presented as the actor’s own response.

The team urged people to verify the source of any statement or video before considering it an official reaction from the actor. The clarification was intended to address alleged misinformation circulating in his name and prevent confusion among his fans.

The team also indicated that legal options could be pursued against those using the actor’s identity or public image to create misleading content.

The circulation of AI-generated videos, fabricated audio and statements presented as authentic has raised concerns on social media. Such material can spread rapidly during sensitive developments involving public figures.

Shroff’s team expressed concern over content being circulated on digital platforms that has no verified connection to the actor’s actual response to the incident.

AI-generated videos can appear realistic, but the appearance of a person’s face or voice in a video does not establish that the individual actually made the statements attributed to them.

The authenticity of such material can be assessed by checking its original source, publication date and whether the statement has been published through the individual’s or their team’s official channels.

Shroff’s team warned that appropriate legal action could be taken against individuals or social media pages that deliberately create fabricated material, promote it or circulate it in a misleading context.

The team indicated that such content was being monitored and reserved the right to pursue available legal remedies against those responsible.

However, whether any specific legal action has been initiated against an individual or social media account in connection with the matter has not been independently confirmed.
