The Basic Education Department has issued an official order in this regard. According to the order, the application process will start from November 15, 2025, and candidates will be able to apply online until December 5, 2025.

Education Department Issues Order

The order issued on Wednesday by Education Director (Basic) Pratap Singh Baghel states that online applications will be invited from successful candidates of the revised result of the Headmaster and Assistant Teacher Selection Exam 2021 for selection and appointment to vacant posts. This has brought smiles back to the faces of thousands of candidates who had been waiting for the recruitment process for four years.

Key Dates Related to Application

The application form format, guidelines, schedule, and all other details for this recruitment will be available on the departmental website from November 3, 2025. Interested candidates are advised to carefully read all guidelines and keep necessary documents ready before applying. The application process will be entirely in Online Mode; therefore, candidates will not need to send offline forms at any stage.

Total 1894 Posts to be Filled

Under this recruitment process, a total of 1894 posts are to be filled. These include 1504 posts for Assistant Teachers and 390 posts for Headmasters. The selection process for approximately 43,000 candidates will proceed for these positions.

Complete History of Exam and Results

The Junior Aided Teacher Recruitment Exam was conducted on October 17, 2021. Its result was released on November 15, 2021. However, due to errors in marks and various discrepancies, many candidates filed petitions in the High Court.

Following the High Court's order, the government constituted a committee on April 12, 2022, which investigated all complaints. Out of a total of 571 complaints, 132 were found to be correct. Subsequently, a revised result was released on September 6, 2022. In the revised result, 42,066 candidates were declared successful out of 2,71,071 candidates who appeared for the Assistant Teacher exam. Similarly, 1,544 candidates succeeded out of 14,931 candidates who appeared for the Headmaster exam.

Reservation to be Implemented at School Level

The most significant feature of this recruitment is that reservation will be implemented at the school level. Previously, the government order of January 1, 2020, had no clear provision regarding this. However, after seeking legal advice, the department has now decided that reservation will be applicable in Aided Junior High Schools, similar to aided secondary schools.

This decision will now ensure social justice in every school. The department states that this system will make the recruitment process transparent and equitable.

Four Years of Waiting Concludes

The Junior Aided recruitment process had been stalled for four years. Candidates had continuously demanded the government to start the recruitment through protests, sit-ins, and memorandums. Now that the department has issued the orders, new hope has emerged among the candidates.

Many candidates state that this recruitment is the biggest opportunity of their lives, as the selection process is starting after such a long time. Along with this, they are also confident that this time the process will be completely transparent.

Important Points for Candidates

Before applying, candidates must keep all necessary documents ready, such as scanned copies of educational certificates, identity proof, photographs, and signatures.

Applications will only be made through the official website of the department.

Detailed information regarding application fees and eligibility will be available on the website from November 3.

The last date for application is December 5, 2025. Applications will not be accepted under any circumstances after this date.

Transparent and Merit-Based Recruitment

The Education Department claims that this recruitment process has been made completely transparent and merit-based. Digital systems will monitor the selection of candidates to prevent any irregularities or favoritism.

Furthermore, the department has clarified that selected candidates will only be appointed to schools where actual vacancies are available. Previously, there were several complaints that posts were not found vacant even after selection. This time, the entire system has been ensured in advance to avoid such issues.

When and Where to Apply

Candidates must apply on the department's website between November 15 and December 5. The application link is expected to be active from November 3. Candidates are advised not to wait until the last date and apply early to avoid any technical issues.
