UP PET 2025 Admit Card: The wait for the UP PET Admit Card 2025 from the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is about to end. According to reports, the commission may release the admit card at any time. Candidates who have applied for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) will be able to download their admit card by visiting upsssc.gov.in.
Exam Date and Shift Timing
The UPSSSC will conduct the PET 2025 examination on September 6th and 7th, 2025. The examination will be held in two shifts on both days.
First Shift: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Candidates are advised to reach the examination center with their admit card and a valid identity card before the examination. Entry will not be allowed without these documents.
How to Download UP PET Admit Card 2025
Candidates will have to follow these steps to download the admit card:
- Visit upsssc.gov.in.
- Click on the UP PET Admit Card 2025 link on the home page.
- Enter login credentials such as registration number and password.
- The admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a printout.
Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
In UP PET 2025, candidates will have to solve 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- 1/4 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The total time duration will be 2 hours.
This time, the validity of the scorecard has been extended to 3 years. That is, once you take the exam, you can participate in the recruitment processes with this score for the next 3 years.

Questions will be asked from the following subjects in the question paper:
- Indian History and National Movement
- Geography
- Indian Economy
- Indian Constitution and Public Administration
- General Science
- Elementary Arithmetic
- General Hindi and English
- Logic and Reasoning
- Current Affairs and General Awareness
- Unread Passage, Interpretation and Analysis of Graphs and Tables
5-10 questions will be asked from each subject.
Important Guidelines for Candidates
- It is mandatory to bring the admit card and original ID to the examination center.
- Reach the examination center ahead of time.
- Read the instructions given on the admit card carefully.
- Do not carry electronic gadgets or mobile phones to the examination center.
