She appealed to the administration to take strict action against such criminals so that such incidents do not happen again in society. She said, "Our daughters should be safe; this should be our first priority." This case has ignited a new debate regarding religious conversion and the safety of women.

Babita Chauhan also praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the strict laws enacted in the state to prevent illegal conversions. Arrest of Changur Baba and His Associate
Changur Baba, a resident of Madhpur, Balrampur district, and his associate Neetu alias Nasreen, have been arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Police's Anti-Terrorism Squad. A non-bailable warrant had already been issued against Changur Baba by the court, and a cash reward of Rs 50,000 was announced for his arrest. This arrest is considered a major success in the ongoing action against illegal conversions, which will help prevent such incidents in the future.
