Khushboo Soni, a resident of Robertsganj in Sonbhadra district, secured 26th rank in the UPPSC 2024 examination and has been selected for the post of Block Development Officer (BDO). She prepared for the examination while living in Prayagraj and continued her studies despite the death of her father in 2022.
Khushboo Soni completed her early education in Sonbhadra and obtained a BSc (PCM) degree from the Government College in Obra in 2018. She then set a goal to enter government service and began preparing for the UP PCS examination.
She faced multiple unsuccessful attempts during her preparation but continued her efforts, refining her strategy after each attempt and steadily working toward her goal.
In 2022, the death of her father created a major setback while she was preparing for competitive examinations in Prayagraj. Despite increased family responsibilities, she continued her preparation without shifting focus from her objective.
During this period, her mother, Ranju Soni, provided consistent support and encouragement, which helped her continue her efforts toward achieving her goal.
Her family includes her mother, one elder brother, and two younger brothers. Her elder brother runs a business in Robertsganj, while her younger brothers are pursuing their respective paths. The family supported her throughout her preparation.
Following the announcement of the results, celebrations were held at her home. Local residents and relatives extended their congratulations.
