The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has initiated a recruitment process for 2,584 conductor posts reserved for women, with selection to be conducted without a written examination and based solely on merit derived from Class 12 marks.
A total of 2,584 conductor posts will be filled under this recruitment. Candidates must have passed Class 12 and possess a CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) certificate.
An additional requirement mandates that applicants must be associated with the Uttar Pradesh National Rural Livelihood Mission or the Skill Development Mission. This provision is intended to provide opportunities to women already linked with government schemes.
No written examination will be conducted for this recruitment. Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from Class 12 marks.
Candidates holding certificates or awards related to NCC ‘B’, NSS, or Bharat Scouts and Guides will receive an additional 5 percent weightage in the merit list.
Selected candidates will be paid at the rate of Rs 2.16 per kilometre. Additional incentives will be provided upon achieving monthly targets.
Other benefits include Employees’ Provident Fund, free travel pass, and night duty allowance.
To facilitate the recruitment process, employment fairs will be held from March 25 to April 1 across multiple cities in Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Jhansi, Gorakhpur, and Saharanpur. Candidates can participate directly in these fairs to apply.
