Urvashi said, "In the beginning, Pandit Dada used to handle my makeup. He did it for a few episodes. But with time, I felt that I could do it myself. This would not only save time, but I would also know the nuances of my face. After the takeover, I used to become Komolika in 3 hours 15 minutes."
Urvashi also told that she is a very private person and so is her family. She said, "It was very important for me to know how my face and my beauty are. It became a part of my professional preparation." Her hard work and dedication made Komolika one of the most memorable negative characters on TV. Her attachment to makeup and look made this character even more popular among the audience.
