Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's 'Developed UP @2047' mission has set a new record for public participation. People from across the state have provided suggestions on education, health, social welfare, agriculture, technological innovation, and other social issues. By Tuesday, nodal officers and prominent citizens in all 75 districts of the state had interacted with students, teachers, entrepreneurs, farmers, voluntary organizations, labor organizations, media, and general citizens.
The aim of this initiative is not only to share Uttar Pradesh's development journey over the past eight years but also to incorporate public opinion and feedback to determine the future roadmap. Approximately two lakh feedbacks have been registered so far on the portal samarthuttarpradesh.up.gov.in, developed by the government. Among these, about 1.35 lakh suggestions have been received from rural areas and 65,000 from urban areas.
Maximum Suggestions in Education, Health, and Agriculture
Education has been considered the most prominent issue among public suggestions. Approximately 70,000 suggestions were received from the education sector, while 40,000 related to urban and rural development, 15,000 from the health sector, 16,000 from social welfare, and 27,000 from the agriculture sector were received. Specifically, in the education sector, emphasis was placed on providing better platforms for cleanliness in hostels, nutritious food, medical facilities, and sports.
In addition, suggestions such as setting a minimum educational qualification of graduation for MLAs and ensuring 50% participation of women in cow shelter committees have also emerged.
Active Participation from Major Districts
The highest participation was observed in districts such as Deoria, Kanpur Dehat, Hardoi, Jaunpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Maharajganj, Pratapgarh, and Gorakhpur. Over 69,670 feedbacks were received from these districts, reflecting the public's keen interest in this campaign. Kunwar Urjaswit Singh from Lucknow suggested that a distributed data center grid should be developed in the state and a Fintech-and-Analytics City in Lucknow.
This will improve UP's global service capacity and data security. Furthermore, by implementing AI pilot projects in local governance and an integrated citizen portal, real-time decision-making processes and service efficiency can be enhanced.
Improvements in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry
Farmers associated with agriculture also provided suggestions on problems faced in animal husbandry. In light of recent incidents of adulteration in animal feed, it was suggested that a scanner app be developed to identify the purity of animal feed. Additionally, this app would provide information on the animal's breed, milk production capacity, and health-related details. Furthermore, a suggestion was made to bring people associated with animal husbandry, fisheries, and beekeeping under the insurance coverage.
